Foreigners who have overstayed the term of validity of ARCs for a period of less than six months, and are not included on a list of persons prohibited from entering Taiwan may submit the following documents at an ROC overseas mission to apply for a visa: 

1.  Foreign spouse of an ROC citizen (visa codes: TS/OS/HS/SC/SF): Transcript of household registration issued within the past three months or a certificate of residence of his/her ROC spouse.
2. Person under 20 years of age who wishes to join his/her family in Taiwan (visa codes: TC/OC/HC/CC/CF): Transcript of household registration issued within the last three months or a certificate of residence of his/her family members in Taiwan.
3. White-collar foreign worker (visa mark: A): The original and a copy of letter of permission from the central competent authority.
4. Foreign student or overseas Chinese student (visa code: FS/FC): Valid student ID.
5. Blue-collar foreign worker (blue-collar) (visa remarks: FL): An approval letter for re-entry and a valid approval letter for employment issued by Ministry of Labor.The aforementioned persons do not need to submit any health certificates.
